Our clubs

Our clubs offer a safe space
for children to relax and play

At First 4 Kids, we believe every child deserves a safe, fun, and nurturing place to grow beyond the school day. As a local charity with over 25 years’ experience, we provide affordable, play-focused out-of-school care that supports families and helps children thrive – before school, after school, and during the school holidays.

After School Club

Our after school clubs run across several primary schools in Falkirk, providing children with a safe, engaging environment from the end of the school day until 6pm. Each club is led by qualified staff and offers a mix of planned activities and free play—from crafts and construction to board games and outdoor fun. Healthy snacks are provided, and children are encouraged to relax, socialise, and try new things in a familiar setting. We collect from a number of local schools, making it easy for families to access care close to home.

First 4 Kids provides After School Clubs for children from the following schools:

Breakfast Club

Our breakfast clubs give children a calm, positive start to their day. Currently available at St Bernadette’s Primary School, the morning session runs from 8am to 9am and includes a light, healthy breakfast alongside quiet games and activities. It's a great way for children to ease into their school day with support from friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

Holiday Club

Open to all school-aged children, our holiday club offers full-day care from 8am to 6pm during school holidays. Held at one of our regular sites (location varies), each day is packed with themed activities, creative challenges, group games and trips out—some of which may carry a small additional cost. Whether your child attends during term-time or not, they’re welcome to join the fun and make new friends during the holidays.

Why us

Play focused environments

Our clubs are designed around the importance of play. With nurturing spaces where children are free to explore, imagine, and grow. The programmes are thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity and creativity, offering a rich variety of activities—from imaginative role-play and hands-on crafts to outdoor adventures and sensory exploration. In our clubs, play isn’t just fun—it’s a powerful tool for learning, helping children build confidence, develop social skills, and discover the world around them at their own pace. With caring adults nearby to support, every moment becomes an opportunity for joyful discovery and meaningful connection

Experienced and caring staff

Each club is led by qualified Play Co-ordinators and supported by trained Playworkers who are passionate about helping children thrive in safe, inclusive spaces. All staff are registered with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Flexible and local

We operate clubs across Falkirk and collect from a range of primary schools. With after school, breakfast and holiday care available, we help families manage busy routines.

Safe and supportive spaces

Every club follows national care standards and is regularly inspected by the Care Inspectorate. We prioritise wellbeing, and work closely with families to support each child’s individual needs.
